How to remove client?

Hi,

how could I remove client from the backup server ?

Delete the directory is enough (and remove the client on the laptop) ?

You mean like uninstall? There is an uninstaller…

What it does is:
*Stop the windows service
*Stop the tray icon program
*Remove the directory
*Remove the windows service entry
*Remove the autostart entry for the tray icon program

and how can you delete them from the backup status ?

In the new version which will be released soon (I want to update the restore cd as well…) you can remove clients on the Detailed status page.

Attempting to remove the client…

  1. Detailed Status Page: stop removing client is there for two days. Clean up windows 1-7/16:30-17
  2. How to manually remove the client and start with a fresh server?

I have successfully installed and “tested” version 2.0.36 on ubuntu. And now I would like to clean the server from any remnant traces af a test client. How one does do that?

Uninstall the client from the client machine then run a cleanup.

UrBackup should take care of the rest.
