I checked /urbackup folder on the server and file owner for backups is urbackup. When restoring, how does it know which files belong to which user/group? If I store those files outside of urbackup, how would I know what attributes/permissions to give to files?
UrBackup 2.x stores file permissions and other file metadata in the files in the .hashes folder and currently only the client can restore this metadata.
