How do I save an static IP to USB bootable?

I’m testing restore 2.0.1 using USB stick bootable and I need to find out how to saved an static IP for the client machine prior to restore via network. I understand that by default a DHCP IP is priority but when I input an static IP, it wasn’t saved. I found this out when I restart the boot process and I’m required to input the same static IP again.
