I have some clients running CentOS, and they have the /boot folder as a non-LVM partition, so every time these machines are backed up, there is errors:
Creating snapshot of “/boot” failed
Volume group “sda1” not found
Cannot process volume group sda1
Could not find LVM volume group of volume /dev/mapper/sda1
Creating snapshot of “boot” failed.
Now i understand that the folder is still being backed up it just doesn’t create a snapshot, but now all my backups look like they are in error, is there a way to selectively disable LVM snapshots for particular folders / partitions.
