How Do I Backup A Particular Folder

Hi All,

I have set urbackup as a file backup setup, also have set the exclude and include file names to be backed up.

I now have one particular machine which I require to backup the full folder which may include files in the exclude types, but when I specify the particular folder the folder size on the machine does not match with the backed up folder on urbackup. (Original folder size: 4.7GB, Backed up size: 800MB)

Any ideas how to go about this ???

Kinda hard to check, but chances are that there s no problem.
The most obvious check is rename the original folder to .bak try a restore, see if it works for you

You d’need to read up on hardlink, symlink, sparsefile
Eventually reflink copy and filesystem snapshot
