How can we specify multiple disks / volumes to image backup using the linux client?

I couldn’t find a clear discussion / explanation of how you can define multiple disks although I can see that using “C” as default will target the root disk.

Can we get an FAQ item that discusses and shows this clearly? In particular, specifying linux paths seems to generate some seriously scuffed looking strings:

/dev/mapper/root-98d1f8b1f435

You cant do an image backup of a linux system. Only file backup.

That is incorrect.

I love when urbackup adds new features. Is your file system extX or XFS?

  • Image backups only work with NTFS formatted volumes and with the Windows client or with extX and XFS and the Linux client. The drives must be MBR or GPT partitioned, the partition must be a primary one. Dynamic volumes are not supported. Mirrored dynamic volumes work, but are not officially supported.
