I really need help because I’m at a loss and can’t find any solution.
I’ve been using UrBackup Server version 2.4.15 on TrueNAS Core for years without any problems, and I’ve had complete confidence in it for backing up my professional clients’ data.
Not a single issue or error in 8 years.
Following a hardware failure, I decided to replace the server with more modern equipment — TrueNAS Scale, the latest version of UrBackup Server 2.5.33, and brand-new hard drives.
Since then, nothing has worked properly: the backup sizes no longer make sense, the database becomes corrupted after a few days and can’t be repaired, forcing me to restore from a backup every time (which triggers terabytes of synchronization and inconsistent values).
I’ve tested the hardware, even replaced the computer with another one, but nothing changes.
No command can regenerate the database from the existing backups, which means that all 8 TB of previous backups are lost and unusable each time.
Does anyone have a solution?
