Full Image Backup of a failing drive

Just wanted a confirmation that this doesn’t work. I have a computer with a failing drive. When trying to back it up, the backup hangs up randomly, like so

Logs are empty on this subject, live log shows

12/29/16 13:06 WARNING During getting MBR: Dynamic volumes are not supported. It may work with mirrored whole disk volumes though. Volume: ‘C:’

Should I take this as “UrBackup only backs up healthy drives” and look for other way to migrate this one?

Server : 2.1.8
Client: Tried with most recent stable and 2.1.8

Oh, and shouldn’t this timeout?

It should stop the image backup with the first read error. Consumer drives take really long to return a read error, though. It depends on the error but it might retry reading the damaged sector for up to an hour until it finally returns an error.

Yes, the idea is that you’d want to restore from the last image backup with all sectors.
