I am using UrBackup on a Windows 7 Ultimate x64 machine, with both the server and the client installed. I want to backup the user directory (C:\Users\…), however, I have put some symlinks (not junctions) to directories in there (e.g. the Music folder is actually located on another drive and symlinked from the users directory).
However, when adding the user directory to the folders to be backed up, the “Music” directory is not included in the backup at all, i.e. symlinks are ignored. Some threads in the forum indicate that it is possible to let UrBackup follow the symlinks, also the changelog of v1.0 states “Follow symlinks in backups paths”. But why is it not happending?
Or do I simply have to add the symlinked folders manually.
