Flooded with notification after restart

I had to shut down my Urbackup Server VM to work onthe underlying storage unit. 5 minute job, then started urbackup server back up. Then I start getting flooded with email notifications for backups going back 6 months. They are still flooding in but I a shunting them to a folder in Outlook to protect my sanity.

Any idea what caused this? I have restarted Urbackup servers in the past without this happening.

Maybe the mail server didn’t work previously… there should be warnings like Error sending mail to [...] in the server log file.

And, yeah, I need to add a timeout for that. Currently it retries infinitely.
