Find and Sort processes?

I have recently been seeing many “sort” and “find” processes on my Linux Server.
They are consuming all the memory ( I have 8GB) and causing some swaping.
Not sure what is starting them so I thought I would ask I if urbackup server could be creating them.
Processes are running as root.
I searched all log files and found nothing.

UrBackup does not call those commands.

Sounds like the “updatedb” command though. Some distributions call this with a cron job. May choke with lots of files.
