Filelist_new_0.ub missing

Debian 13.4 with Urbackup client ??? (not sure but, from the “version.txt” file it’s 295)

Using Urbackup Server 2.5.36 on Debian 13.4

Someone else posted a question about this same thing 2 years ago and didn’t get an answer.

Hope somebody new, or maybe @Uroni, will have an answer.

Error message in journalctl for urbackupclientbackend.service:

“Error getting file type of /usr/local/var/urbackup/data/filelist_new_0.ub. No such file or directory (code: 2)”

Anyone know what the cause of this is?

Backups seem to be working, but I haven’t had to restore anything recently.

You are likely backing up without snapshot? That file just gets renamed between listing and backup, so it is not backed up. Since it a urbackup file in this case, it doesn’t matter.

Never been able to get snapshots to work.
