Fedora 41: How to backup images?

Hi,
just installed urbackup-server and client on my windows-notebook and one day later i had a image-backup almost without doing anything!
Great!

My second notebook is a surface book 2 with fedora 41 and a special surface-kernel, so i installed the urbackup-client there.
There are some options how to backup and i understood that i need dattodb to have image-backups.
The problem is that the latest dattodb-release is for fedora 32.

So here are my questions:
a) Can i use dattodb for fedora 32 with my fedora 41?
b) Or do i have to build dattodb?
c) Is there an alternative way (than dattodb) to have image-backups with urbackup for fedora?
d) Are there better, recommended linux distros that work with urbackup?

Thanks for any help!

Would LVM be an option? You would not have CBT using that, but it also would be perhaps to most stable option. You’ll have to do an initial install with a LVM setup and set aside some snapshot storage as well.
