Excluding Linux filesystems from image backup

Hi,
I have a simple setup in which my root FS, my home FS and my boot FS are on separate partitions.
I’d like to image backup only my root FS, but the config has only an option to select a drive, and not a mount point, is there a way to exclude it? How?
I’m using device mapper for the root FS, if that matters.

Not sure if anything has changed since 2015…

It has changed, image backups are supported for about a year now.

This worked for me:

/|rootfs/symlinks_optional,one_filesystem,share_hashes

It only backs up the root filesystem and not any (sub)mounted FS. Use this in the “Default directories to backup” setting under File Backups. I have been using this with success for a while now on several linux clients. Hope this helps.
