Exclude system and or hidden files from file backups

Would be useful to be able to exclude files according to the system / hidden attribute from file backups of windows clients by checkbox.

My exclusions list when pointing at the Users directory is getting rather long & is very awkward to read in the current interface, maybe a pop-up window/dedicated tab and exclusions 1 per line for that?

i like you suggestion but, if you skip hidden folders backup,
you will not save thunderbird folder for example.

That presupposes you use Thunderbird, and you can always include it explicitly, or just remove the hidden attribute.
Skipping hidden & system folders was the default with CrashPlan, before they killed it & it does save you from including tons of stuff you don’t really want / need to backup outside of an image.
