errors because disk problems HELP!!!

Hello dear community,

I have a problem. when i do a full data backup over the internet i get the error disk problems in the end. Unfortunately, the protocol does not exactly explain why the error comes, I need urgent help

“Disk problems” would suggest to me to be running

CHKDSK /SCAN

on whatever disk(s) are involved. Assuming your Windows supports the /SCAN switch (8 onwards I think), it has the advantage of scanning without exclusive disk access.

I followed the command but everything seems fine

I can save individual folders that is not a problem. But as soon as I want to make a full data backup, it always ends with the error

Hi, just a stupid idea. Is the server running on windows?
In windows there are some reoccuring limitations with long path (more than 255 character).
I had similar in linux server and windows clients when I had to restore files with long path!

yes it runs on windows. How can I avoid that?

Honestly, I have no idea.I am not familiar with Windows, and we met similar problems in different windows based systems, they where not related to Urbackup.
So I would recommend you to move server to Linux :), but I now, it not allways possible!

Try some google search, for example https://www.howtogeek.com/266621/how-to-make-windows-10-accept-file-paths-over-260-characters/

But AT YOUR OWN RISK!

I changed the value in the regestry let’s see if it helped
