2017-05-21 04:02:04(warning): Writer is in error state during snapshot creation. Writer data may not be consistent. This means the files open by this application (e.g. databases) will be backed up in a crash consistent state instead of a properly shutdown state. Properly written applications can recover from system crashes or power failures.

What it mean??

It means i wonder how you managed to get such errors on linux , did you tried to run it throught wine ?
These are the errors a windows agent could make (bits writer, vss , c:)

What is more strange is that it managed to copy some data ( Transferred 753.13 MB - Average speed: 144.842 MBit/s)

I’ve set up to receive any Warning or Error by email.

Is a Windows client, sorry for mistake.

Yes the backup is performed. I want to know to what extent these errors can compromise my backup? I do not know all the files copied are valid, do you understand me?

Client version: 2.1.15

Haa, then check your if your server has few free disk space (like <10%), the snapshoting may fail because of this.
i think you can also change the max space space a snapshot may use , but it s years i didn’t touched this stuff.

If snapshoting fails, you ll have problems with :
Files that are modified during backups.
Or a group of files which needs to be modified together to be consistant (like for a database that use one file per table).

It s no a issue for things like music and office documents.

Space is 25% free.

Change space of snapshot i don’t think so… if @uroni can answer this.

Thats is my problem, backup without associated data, this can make me trouble in future.
