ERROR Error while getting files in folder "/run/user/1000"

hello,

I have a problem with urbackup-client-2.1.16 for linux. I use linux mint 18.2 cinnamon.
When I want to make an incremental copy of files, I get this error:

11/06/17 10:39 ERROR Error while getting files in folder “/ run / user / 1000”. User may not have permissions to access this folder. Errno is 0
11/06/17 10:39 ERROR Constructing of filelist of “LAC-DELL-06” failed: error - index error
11/06/17 10:39 ERROR Backup had an early error. Deleting partial backup.

This message is the only thing that the log shows me.

Can you help me solve it?

Hi

Do not backup /run /tmp /dev and such
Look at the doc on how to ignore some folders

Unless you have very specific setup you d need to backup only /root /etc/ /var/lib /home
Possibly do a dpkg -l or similar to /root/ backup the list of installed packages

Thank you! I just saw that the problem is the copy of a program that urbackup can not copy.

I deleted it from the folders that were copied and it works.

Hi

It’s bad idea t delete such file, most likely you need them.
i am pretty sure they ll come back at the next reboot.
you should ignore them from backup.
