Hy, is it possible to make a complete disk Backup instead of only partition Backup ?- some preinstalled Computers contains hdd’s with important hidden recovery partitions.
Can i backup Windows 7 PC’s with Bitlocker ? - i think Bitlocker also uses a hidden 100 MB Partition with encryption keys (Endorsement Keys).
perhaps you can adapt some code from the open source solution “odin imager”
It does already backup the “System reserved” partition. 1.5 will also backup the EFI partiton. I personally would not want it to backup e.g. OEM restore parititions, but I guess we’ll have to discuss this.
Haven’t tried it with bitlocker yet. I guess it backs up the partition in decrypted form anyway. The 100MB partition may actually be the “System reserved” partition which it already backs up…
