Data on volume is too large for VHD files

Any idea how to fix this “Data on volume is too large for VHD files with 2.35508 TB. VHD files have a maximum size of 2040GB. Please use another image file format.”
I am just backing up several folders to a URBackup Linux VM server - it has a 2.9 TB Drive
I’m sort of new to this and I I can’t find any other posts regarding this error.
Any thoughts are welcome.

When you use btrfs filesystem for backup storage in image backup settings raw image format available. You can avoid 2Tb limitation this way.

Thanks for the reply - It wasn’t formatted as btrfs but I have since deleted the server and rebuilt one with a 2TB partition btrfs drive and I’m running my first backups at the minute - fingers crossed.
