Considering commercial options. Any roadmap of version change?

Hi!

I’m considering buying both some CBT clients and a single Hyper-V client for my homelab. As the purchase will be valid for version 2.x I’m asking if any planned version change to 3.x is waiting in near future? If so what is the approximate timeframe?
One more question: Is it possible to have Hyper-V client for the host to use CBT somehow? Do I need to install both clients to the host to have a system drive backed up? Or I need to go without CBT?

No such version is change is on the roadmap.

This is untested, but you could try installing the CBT client first, then hyper-v (both exe). That would make the CBT available to the hyper-v client.
