Configuring Client on MAC OS

Hello.

I just installed the UrBackup client 2.5.29 on macOS Catalina.
My server isn't on the same VLAN as my client, so it can't discover it.
On other machines running Windows or Linux, I was able to configure the client using the settings.cfg file or the command `urbackupclientctl set-settings`. But on my Mac, when I try to use the command, I get a permissions error message (without being able to find where it's located). When I place a "template" settings.cfg file with the basic parameters in the directory `/libray/application Support/Urbackup Client/var/urbackup/data`, it doesn't seem to be applied, and the server isn't found. The client icon appears in the taskbar, but I don't have the configuration option. I don't know what to do. Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you in advance

I have the same issue. The workaround I currently use is install client 2.4.11 … configure… then upgrade to 2.5.29… also, i’ve noticed 2.5.29 doesn’t work on intel machines, so any of those stay on 2.4.11 as well

Hello:

The path for urbrackupclientctl is /Applications/UrBackup\ Client.app/Contents/MacOS/bin/urbackupclientctl - should allow you to configure via the command line.

I’ve not had chance to try the 2.5.29 release yet - but I’d be surprised if it doesn’t work on Intel systems…

Good morning. In fact, I found the problem which comes from the version of the UrBackup client.
The MacOS version was Sonoma, and I had the latest version of the client installed (2.5.29).
An error message I received led me to a version problem. So I reverted to an earlier version of UrBackup 2.15 and the installation worked. I simply had the settings options on my client that I was able to configure.
I just have one last problem with the backup directory whose configuration does not come down from the server but I will look into that a little later. Thank you for your answers.
