I tried to configure the Urbackup Client for Linux in Version 2.0.10 today and figured out, that it ignores parameters I pass with -c and always loads the default config /usr/local/var/urbackup/data/settings.cfg

The config file only allows you to set stuff that you would set via command line.
You can use urbackupclientctl set-setting to change the settings via command line
