Cant find server when trying to restore from cd

Fresh Server installation.
UrBackup 2.1.20 Version on the server and latest on the clients.

Server is hosted on root server in Hetzner Germany Hosting.
First IP Address is servers WAN IP.
it has 2nd LAN IP address as link to the LAN network.
one default gateway (Hetzner’s)

LAN network is managed by pfSense VM.

I can ping server from all the clients on the LAN.
when I start a VM from CD it can’t find the server.
I tried to enter the hostname / IP manually.

I can ping from the server to the restore cd VM.

right now for the test the firewall on the host is disabled.
and still nothing.

I used a workaround. no clue what the original issue was.

I used Virtualbox’s Host adapter to create the connection and now it recognizes the server.
