I have users who are not connected long enough to make backups there is a configuration where i can make copies for periods of time.

Set the Client: Backup window to 1-7/0-23. Whenever the client computer connects to the network Urbackup will schedule any missed backups.
When the user complains that backups are interrupting their work, that’s your training opportunity to teach them to leave the computers connected during the proper backup window. I’ve also had some success setting the BIOS to start the client computer automatically before the nightly backup window as a cure for users that shut down instead of merely logging off.
You can also restrict the backups to the Documents folder instead of the entire Users tree and be in and out so quickly the user doesn’t notice.
