I installed the server and client locally on my Windows 11 machine so I could back up images of my hard drives. However, it seems to have started backing up right away. I set the window to Mondays between 2 am and 12 pm, but I guess it’s too late? I only seem to be able to pause it. I don’t want the backup to hog system resources while I’m gaming or working on other demanding tasks.
Also, the help says the following:
“The server will only start backing up clients within this window. The clients can always start backups on their own, even outside the backup windows.”
I can set the backup windows on the server and client sides, but the clients can start the backups whenever they want? Am I misunderstanding something? If not, what’s the point of setting the client backup windows?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
