Backup of Large File Using Internet

Hello!
I’m having a problem with the backup of a file has 4Gb as during transfer by internet error time out or loss of connection occurs. I thought I’d copy this file via flash drive and save to the server, after just getting it running incremental backup via internet. It would be possible to do this, and how should I proceed?

If it is not possible is there another solution? :D

Backup the file using a client in the local network and then enable “Calculate file-hashes on the client” for the internet client.

I don’t find this option "“Calculate file-hashes on the client”
