Backup had an early error. Deleting partial backup.

EDIT: Quick question: Is this problem a change on the server side or the client side?

How did you change the backup directory?

Also, be advised that new backups will rely on links to the old backups, which are no longer on the drive they were on previously.

Consider the following, even though it was with a Windows server:

Hello the server has not been changed.
It is the client side that ha been changed.

I used network path and now hard path so i had changed path for directory to backup.
I delete old and add new whitch command urbackupclientctl add-backupdir

it is linux Server ans linux client

i don’t understand.
I have delete all my old backup.

But i have same errors…

Someone who is doing Linux backups might be able to say more definitively, but what it seems like to me, is that you changed the path you were using for the backups, and now, the server is trying to access that new path whenever it is looking to dedupe your new backups, but they were not stored that way.

I think that if you change the path, you need to start the backups all over for that client.

Why don’t you test a new client, using the new path backup path, and see if it also has the same kind of problem (which might help in troubleshooting), or if it works fine.
