Backup destination cannot handle subvolumes and snapshots. Snapshots disabled

I see this message in my logs:

Backup destination cannot handle subvolumes and snapshots. Snapshots disabled.

This is running in docker. The folder the /backups folder is mounted from is a ZFS file share, so from what I understand this should work… shouldnt it? What would I need to do to handle snapshots?

ended up just running it locally. Looks like the way docker mounts it loses thease features.

Yeah, was going to try running a Docker for my setup a while ago, but gave it up as I couldn’t get my head around how to get it working and what would happen if it bounced or I needed to “flick” to a new one…
