Am I going to have boot issues after removing the client?

I’ve run into the boot enviroment being clobbered a couple of times now. I’ve managed to fix it each time but I’d like it to stop entirely.

I removed the Ubunutu client using the uninstall scripts and the response was as follows;

root@docker1:/home/adrian# uninstall_urbackupclient
Complete uninstallation of UrBackup Client (purge).. Proceed ? [Y/n]

Removing device mapper boot volume snapshot...
update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-5.15.0-124-generic
W: Couldn't identify type of root file system for fsck hook
Removed /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/urbackupclientbackend.service.
UrBackup client uninstall complete.
root@docker1:/home/adrian#

Am I going to run into any boot issues if I restart this box again?

What’s this got to do with urbackup?

Well hello to you too!

Since you asked, and clearly didn’t read the output I had pasted. I uninstalled the URbackupClient. During that uninstall, there was an error reported that concerned me.

W: Couldn't identify type of root file system for fsck hook

Since I am still getting used to Linux systems, and since the message came up uninstalling URBackup, I posted a question to the community here. If questions like this annoy you, perhaps find some other hobbies.

If you can contribute and share useful information back to the community then great! If all you want to do is play forum cop, please go somewhere else.

I did read the output. This often highlights an issue with your fstab not urbackup, which is why I asked why you thought your boot issue has something to do with urbackup i.e. ia there something in your system logs that may you think urbackup is responsible?
