I bought the CBT license and became the instruction to store the server_update_location.url file into the var/urbackup directory.
Since i’m not familiar with Linux and my Server (2.0.38) runs on a QNAP TS-453 Pro, i looked around with WinSCP and found the following:
/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/QUrBackup/var/urbackup
Is that the correct location?
Furthermore, i checked the automatic deployment of the client. Does that mean, that the new CBT Client will be automatically installed on my Windows PC’s and overwrites the now installed 2.0.36?

Yes. The Location on the QNAP must be corret.
Yes. It does update.
I can say this, because i have now the 2.0.38-cbt Client on my PC, without doing something manually.
