the plan ist to backup about 70 windows 7 clients. This will be a big amount of data. Is there a way to use 2 differents pathes or mountpoints (Windows/Linux Server) to save the images on an other harddisk than the filebackup. At the moment everything would be in the path configured in the Urbackup webinterace. Are there any ini or config files, which can be edited to make that.
Hello, I plan backup like Guido42.
One 4Tb for everything, and second 4Tb - for fileserver only.
Try make symlink, junction, mount partition to folder - got “Storing file failed -1”
And I not found, how to install two servers on a single computer without vitrualization.
Can you help me?
I think there will be no chance to run Urbackup server with two instances on one computer without virtualization.
We are planing to use 2 8TB harddisks, and this will be just enough filespace.
Because there ist obviously no supported way to handle this, we are thinking abut LVM or BTFRS filesystem. I do not like both of them, but will prefer BTFRS for this project.
Last attepmt - failure.
I create share at localhost, add loopback adapter.
In share moun partition to folder.
Change urBackup service user to “my network user”.
For mounted partition got “Storing file failed -1” again…
By the way, in previous attempts image backup works.
In the file backup - only empty folders at destination and files at urbackup_tmp_files folder.
I think, problem only with move files from urbackup_tmp_files to destination, if destination not regular folder.
