I’m a programmer by trade and a hobbyist by nature. Linux is much preferred over Windows, even though I use Windows every day for work.

Having quite a number of machines at home, I decided to put my TrueNAS server to use keeping my work machine and the more important laptops backed up. Urbackup was the first solution I decided to try and after some time swearing at it, I finally decided that it works rather well after some changes on my client machines to let it work as it wants to.

Joining the urbackup forum seemed to be a sensible idea and so here I am!
