Retired Unix sysadmin.
Lived in Aus 20 years from 1980. Started on IBM kit in Assembler and PL/1 in 1976. Worked on MP/M in 1978 - serial, multiport driver. 8080,8085, 6809 micro projects. Later C, RPG, various languages and O/S’s SCO Xenix. IBM AIX, SUN, IRix. Wrote Basic multi-user runtime and bytecode compiler.
Lots of support and troubleshooting.
Now, I still dabble with a soldering iron and heat station and fix stuff for free because I enjoy fixing.

But, eyes are not as good as they were.
So, started composing music after my retirement.
My true love. I ran a recording studio in London in 1973.
Lived in a few countries - Ukraine, US, Malaysia, UK, Aus.
I have 4 adorable grandchildren for whom I wish the world were a better place.
