Using client's environment variables

Hi all,
first time posting here, so I owe a great thank you to the developer of this cool program!

No back to the topic: what I’m trying to do is to set the default directory to backup to users’ Documents folder.

What I did is go to Settings > File backups > Default directories to backup and set it to %userprofile%\Documenti (this is in italian language).

If I go to that path by command line it goes to the correct folder, BUT it looks like UrBackup doesn’t manage it and result is a 0 byte backup.

Could anyone help me to accomplish this task, in order to launch the installer on some 150 PCs and have it automatically backup the right folder for each user? They are all Win XP and 7 machines.

It runs as a background service as a SYSTEM user and thus does not know about the environment variable you need. (Userprofile would be C:\Windows or something)

You can accomplish what you want via the include_files setting though: http://www.urbackup.org/FAQ.php#include_files

(Use it with “documents and settings”, so you need only one include_files setting)
