Which version were you using? What did it do before it started crashing?
Is there something abnormal in the logfile? (C:\Program files\UrBackupServer\urbackup.log)
You can also change the “warn” to “debug” in the args.txt file. Then you will get more log messages.
I use version 0.23-1 and also tried 0.24 with the same result.
Before the crash, i did a file backup from a client but i didn’t changed anything from the settings.

and that’s all.
I can’t start the web interface, because the service crashes but if i am really fast i can start the webinterface while the service is starting and then i see a message:
"The directory where urbackup will save backups is inaccessible.
Please fix that by modifying this folder in ‘settings’ or by giving urbackup rights to access this directory.
But it is possible that this message is there because of the failed service start.
nothing is changed to the location, but because the service fails, i cannot check it in “settings” as it is not accessible without a started service.
Can i check it manually in a file (the configuration file ?).
If so, which file is it ?
The last message indicates that it can’t create temporary files anymore. I just checked and that would cause the server to crash. I will fix that. But maybe you can also make the temporary directory acessible again.
I deleted the temporary directory and recreated it.
Now it works again, don’t know what happened to make it inaccessible.
My backup status is now empty again but it shows:
BBexpress Yes Server rejected - - -
No recent backup
Is there a way so that i can have the backup status of the clients back or how is that done and why is it rejected ?

Uninstalling probably deleted your server_ident.key . You can read up on that here: http://www.urbackup.org/Administration_Manual.php?lang=en#x1-110003.3
So you delete the server_idents.txt on the clients, manually add the old server_ident.key or add the new server key to the server_idents.txt
