I have two urbackup servers running, in two different datacenters, but same L2 network. I’ve copied the server key between them, so clients happily backup to both servers, but I would like to sync configuration between the servers, so if I change the config on one server, it’s automatically synced to the other one.
I’m not sure what the best way to do it would be. For example, I’ve been using the client on each server to configure what to backup, and it seems to propogate to both servers, except virtual clients. I create a virtual sub client name in the web interface on urbackup-01, add a directory on the client with that virtual sub client name, but urbackup-02 doesn’t figure out that it’s a virtual client.
Any body else have a similar setup?
