SSD as system drive on Server - Reduce Writes?

I’m using an SSD as the system drive on my windows server and wanted to make sure UrBackup wasn’t writing too much to the SSD.

I specified an alternative TEMP location in the settings, is this enough to ensure this?

Yes that would do the trick. In 1.1 you’d need to enable file and image buffers in the “Advanced” tab as well.

I’d use the ssd as buffer device though and a slow, cheap hard disk as backup storage. Can’t image why you would do it outherwise? (Wear leveling keeps the SSD functional for a long time. Then it is only temporary files that are lost…)
