Running on Synology, error: "err_cannot_create_subdir"

I have installed the UrBackup package on my Synology device (DS115j). I am using the package from: http://syno.marktompkins.me However, I keep getting this error:
**“The directory where UrBackup will save backups is inaccessible. Please fix that by modifying this folder in ‘Settings’ or by giving UrBackup rights to access this directory.(err_cannot_create_subdir)”

I have created a NFS share on the Synology device and then put its path in the Settings tab of UrBackup. Since this is my first time working with NFS shares, I’m pretty sure that I have done something wrong with the NFS configuration.

Is there some better directions on getting the backup path/NFS set up for this? Is NFS the right strategy? There are at least 3 other users on the Synology form with the same issues in this thread: http://forum.synology.com/enu/viewtopic.php?f=190&t=96975&p=375212#p375212
Thanks in advance!

Any suggestions on NFS config for this? Thanks!

Unless another Synology user answers I don’t think we can help you here.

I think the UrBackup error message is informative enough. It cannot create subdirectories in the folder where you specified it should save your backups.

uroni: thanks for the reply. I really think it is a NFS issue, I’ll see if I can dig more. Thanks.
