After a MASSIVE system failure I’m trying to recover my Hyper-V machines from backups,
However the urbackup server failed but I do have the backup files stored.
I managed to recover the DC but that only had the SysVol and C, the other servers were newer systems and have the extra ESP volume, so the same process isn’t working.
Assemble_disk_image gives and error
Trying to write beyond partition.
Is there a way around this issue?
The disk assembling doesn’t support GPT-formatted disks.

even though the image files are still in the folder?
There seems to be something strange happening?
Any idea why I cannot see the images from the restore disc
