If switching image format on an existing client is not a good idea (or simply bad karma) and if you think it would help, I wouldn’t mind removing an existing client, clean up and reinstall client for vhdz only format.
I guess just cancel the last reply. Although the new drive I was using to restore checked out with a general test, it must have issues that I need to look into. I replaced that drive with another drive and UrBackup restored the test image in about 15 minutes.
Not sure if it’s a new issue are simply information, but the server log did indicate:
WARNING: Padding 512 zero bytes during restore…
