How to abort and prevent full backups

A full backup takes about 60% of my backup drive. I do not have room for more than 1 complete backup. When a “Full Backup” runs it only makes it to 17% and goes no further.

I know I can stop the sever, delete the fullbackup folder and run remove_unknown.bat to purge the failed backup. However even with Full Backups set to 1 and a retention period of 720 days. as soon as I restart the backup server it starts a full backup. How can I prevent this from happening?

You can disable Full backups globally or per host.

Globally: Go to Settings>File Backups, and check Disable next to “Interval for full file backups:”
Per Host: Go to Settings, select the host you wish to disable full backups. Click on File Backups, and check Disable next to “Interval for full file backups:”
