Having issues installing UrBackup

I cannot get urbackup to install on one of the clients. It keeps giving me a error when trying to locate systemd?
The computer is running an older version of linux that I don’t think i can upgrade.
Can anyone help me or has anyone run into this issue?

Hi

Which distribution/version is that? What’s the error?

If really it s not possible you can try installing 1.4
But usually if there s no library problem, and you use some package to install the client.
The script may be able to get urbackup installed where the package can’t

/usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) and not being able to install policykit for urbackup
it is unable to find /systemd
I’ll get the version

yes , also which installer do you use?

version 2.2.0
The .sh one

And which distribution is it, with it s version, like ubuntu jaunty ?
cat /etc/lsb-release
should be able to tell that

I think jaunty is my oldest urbackup client running, and i had to compile the client by myself and setup the service. If you dont have any experience compiling, it will be a lot intimidating and a bit time consuming (like maybe half day/day).

I will check and let you know shortly.
Thank you for your time and patience with me
