Does Urbackup Server v0.26.1 supports Ubuntu 10.04

I am now trying to install UrBackup Server v0.26.1 on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, Does it support installtion on Ubuntu 10.04 since during installtion it asks me to install libboost-python 1.42.0 or higher. I am unable to find this dependency.

Thanks,
Santosh M.

It works without this dependency. But the package is compiled with it:

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=33

Thanks, got it resolved by upgrading the Ubuntu version to 10.10. Now the issue is as below, when i access the admin page I get the below message, please help to resolve this

“The directory where UrBackup will save backups is inaccessible. Please fix that by modifying this folder in ‘Settings’ or by giving UrBackup rights to access this directory.”

Regards,
Santosh

You need to tell UrBackup where to save the backups and give the “urbackup” user write access to this directory

It think, in this case it’s most sensible to change the owner i.e.

sudo chown urbackup:urbackup /media/Backup/URBackup
