Data Prestaging

Is is possible to pre-stage data for the first full backup of a large data which might take a very long time to complete if done over the WAN

Thanks a lot for your response. I’ve already tried doing it that way before your response. I just thought I’ll be possible to do a copy and paste to the backup location and then doing an incremental afterwards.
