Create user's rights

Hi all,

I just recently installed install UrBackup on OMV3 via the plugin.
It’s nice, and easy to use.

system info:
server: Debian Jessie
web: Nginx
php 5.6
mysql: 5.5

I got Urbackup running last night.
I created an admin account, and it’s working fine.
However, I’m try to create a user account with limit access.
But can’t log in as that user. It said session has been expired…
I can logged in as an admin without any issue.

My second issue is how do I configure UrBackup for SSL for Nginx?

I gave the user with the following info:

Domain:

browse_backups,status,logs,progress

Tried None and All for “Rights” but it not working.

Basically, I want the user has only the above privileges, nothing else.

This is for a 2.0.X build; are you currently running 2.0.X, or something else?

What I think you’re looking for is this:

https://www.urbackup.org/administration_manual.html#x1-190004.1

Down at the bottom of the 4.1 section you will see this:

Currently a user needs the “status” right for at least one client, in order for the user to be able to log in.

I hope that fixes your first issue; I know nothing about Nginx.

Edit: Directly under 4.1, in section 4.2, it talks about setting up SSL for lighttp. Don’t know if you can cross reference that with Nginx, and build your own thing from it.

Hello,

I read that article many times, but it didn’t work.
Another issue is that UrBackup cloning speed is too slow for me compare to Clonezilla.

Thanks for the help.
