My setup:
OS - Ubuntu 15.04
UrBackup Server - 2.0.0.0
Problem:
When the cleanup period is started, access to webinterface is not possible.
When I enter in browser [server ip address]:55414, page starts to load, but it never finishes completely.
The only error in urbackupsrv.log file is this:
ERROR: Error downloading server version information: HTTP response code said error(ec=22), The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found
For now. the only solution to this problem, is server restart.
Help, anyone?
Sorry, I didn’t make my question clear enough. The problem is that, I can’t access webinterface during cleanup period and also after it.
Before cleanup period, everything works. When it is time to clean up, cleanup period starts, does it’s job and ends. And after that, webinterface is not accessible. When I try to access it, I see only UrBackup logo and loading bar loading endlessly.
Maybe, it is because my storage is an NFS share?
The database backup does not seem to finish. Can you disable it in the settings and backup the content of /var/urbackup manually (if neccessary)?
You’ll need to make a LVM snapshot or similar and copy it to another location.
I’ve made some progress on resolving my issue.
Yesterday, I’ve changed backup storage from NAS NFS share to server’s internal disk, and now Urbackup Server is working fine. So, it looks like the problem is with NAS NFS share.
Thank you everyone, for answers.
I think, we can close this topic.
I’m facing your same issue with a NAS NFS share: did you fix it? Could you use nfs share again?
I used it for 2 months. After upgrading from 1.4.11 to 1.4.14 the server is starting fine, but it kinda hangs after one day or so and the web interface is no longer responding.
