Can´t make imge backup

I´m starting using urBackup a week ago. First backing up just files, nd now i´d like to use the image backup.
The problem is that that the image backups doesn´t start, and nothing is registered on the log.
Where cloud be the problem?

  1. Are your trying to backup Linux machines - this is not supported, but some people have made ways around it with an LVM (talk to the Linux experts.)

  2. Is Image backups turned on in your console?

  3. If it is not a Linux machine, and Image backups are turned on, is the client seen in the webinterface?

Can confirm, snapshots are sort-of easy with LVM but you have to keep snapshot LVM in mind when building the system. There are a few tutorials floating on the web, if it’s a Linux machine tell us and I’ll find it.

No, it´s not linux.
I have identified the problem. In the config I have not set the Drive c to image backup to the general config. I don´t need image backup from every server, i just need one server o make the image backup, so I disable image backup on the general config, create a separeted cllient config for this server, and this way is not working.
I have to enable image disk on general euther

What if you left the general settings on, but turned off image backup for each server?

It will probably work (sounds good in theory, just annoying to test). It wouldn’t be an ideal way to deal with this though, Pablo is right on this one - they have to work if at least one client has them turned on.
