Just downloaded and began testing URBackup. WOW! I use many commercial apps in my work, and this one really has impressed me with what I’ve seen thus far.
That said, I haven’t found a “grail” of some of the big boys. It would be awesome if we could configure an image backup either on a scheduled basis or just the last one, to actually get a boot of the VHD, with a screen capture of the logon screen, then shut down. It would need to be read only, no network access, and it’s hardly a complete test, but end-users do love the feature. I figure at least part of it would be to configure a local machine on a hypervisor, then some sort of automated scripting to used the compiled VHD and do the rest.
Anyway, DANG this is a nice looking app. Thanks for it!
