Alert Script Parameters

I am looking to update the alert script to utilize the urbackup group information that is setup on the virtual appliances we are setting up for our clients.

I know that is uses params.clientname for the device name, but I want to include the group name to differentiate the organization that the device is a part of.

I have looked all over the forums and community, but nothing that lists that information.

It’s currently not available in the script. Those are available: urbackup_backend/urbackupserver/Alerts.cpp at 2.4.x · uroni/urbackup_backend · GitHub

I’ll add them, group id + name, correct?

Yes, being able to put in the Group Name in the subject or body of the message so we can set our ticket system to properly assign it to the right client.
